Raygun x Megan Groth

Raygun collaborated with Megan on the book’s creative direction, coordinated with the various writers and photographers to collect and curate content, and designed the entire layout as well as the book’s dedicated website. We worked with our local printer Neyenesch to source paper and create a special fluorescent ink mix to ensure the book was worthy of coffee tables and design displays in homes and museums alike.

Places We Love: San Diego Tijuana’ is the first book of its kind published about our region in 20 years. It’s the result of a year-long collaboration with dozens of local designers, writers, and photographers based here in San Diego Tijuana, and we timed the release in November 2023 to coincide with our region’s designation as the World Design Capital of 2024. Places We Love: San Diego Tijuana’ is available to purchase in high-end design shops and bookstores such as the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, Mingei International Museum, the Balboa Park Visitor’s Center, the Library Shop, Book Catapult, and more.
